Site Manager – Large Mixed Use Development
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + benefits (flexible to accommodate)

About the role: We are currently searching for 2 Site Managers to work on a £50m London based development. This project consists of 260 residential units, 150 hotel rooms and 80,000 sqft of commercial space, each set in separate blocks. In this role you will be responsible for managing one or two blocks reporting into the Project Manager. You will oversee and manage the sections of the project using internal labour and outside agency staff whilst managing sub contractors on a daily basis. Other responsibilities include first aid, review of sub contractors method statements, weekly scaffold inspections, weekly progress report to project manager, liaising with architects, designers, buyers and sub-contractors to resolve any unforeseen problems. You will be responsible for direct liaison with NHBC inspectors ensuring regular inspections of work are recorded.

The suitable candidate will share responsibility for determining and agreeing the project requirements, to ensure that the business objectives are met in line with all Health and Safety regulations.

The position will also require the successful individual to develop and control assigned project staff to establish and maintain highly motivated and dedicated project management teams.

Requirements: The individual concerned will have previous experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager from either the commercial or housing sector ideally with experience of R C Frames through to finishes. You will have experience of working on large multi storey developments and be capable of managing day to day without supervision. The ideal individual will be highly motivated, idea-driven and capable of exceeding expectations. Lateral thinking and highly developed problem-solving abilities should be coupled with a very strong academic background and a track record of managing projects.
